In the Spring of 1949, the Westbury Times published an article celebrating the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Children’s Library, Robert Bacon Memorial. Written by Jacqueline Overton, the article included excerpts of letters written to her by eight men who were among the first generation of Westbury youths to join the Library. This original documentary explores the lives of these men, many of whom led remarkable lives as writers, scientists and pioneers in their fields. Registration required.
